Mission
PAD envisions a community where children and youth play an active role in tackling deep-rooted barriers to change, empowered to raise their voices to realize their basic needs and rights, including gender equality and freedom from violence.
History
In 1985, PAD started its intervention in Thirunelveli and Thoothukudi area of South Tamilnadu to address the issue of child labour by educating the general public, parents, teachers and fellow NGOs and bringing them out of hazardous work by enrolling them in schools.
