PAD operates from three field offices which are located along the coast in Vembar, Kilakkarai and Rameswaram. The 133 working villages have been allocated to the three offices, hence fieldworkers from each office are in charge of their respective villages. Each office maintains one computer center, where various classes take place.

The Vembar Office is the main field office, which is home to the administration, the research team and the SCUBA center. Therefore, more than half of PAD’s staff members work in Vembar.

The Kilakkarai Office, located about 60km north of Vembar is one of the two field offices where about 10 staff members work.

The Rameswaram Office, about another 60km north of Kilakkarai, is the other small field office, which is about the same size as the Kilakkarai office.
